Garmin installation service and support policy

Most Garmin products intended for use in certified aircraft may only be sold and installed by an authorised Garmin Aviation dealer. Exemptions may be done for equippment that is to be installed in experimental aircraft (proof of this is required and the product will be warranty registered on that particular aircraft). Garmin has a wide range of STC’s available – these STC’s may only be used by authorised Garmin Aviation dealers.

Simply – Garmin products are installed and serviced by the Garmin Aviation dealer network.

Shipping, returns and warranty.

Items listed on our website are all special order unless othervise noted. No returns are accepted unless othervise agreed. Some parts are “in stock” available for immediate delivery and this is indicated by the “in stock symbol” and will be shipped no later than the next day. Parts not in stock will have a lead time of about 5 working days (Note: Garmin G5 products and COM, COM/NAV, COM/NAV/GPS may have a delivery time of over 9 weeks due to high demand and the transition to 8.33kHz channel spacing in Europe). Orders for “back order products” must be prepayed and items will be shipped as soon as possible.

Warranty – refer to each manufacturers website for warranty information.

For Garmin products all warranty services are done in UK, the customer is responsible for shipping costs and all related labor related to removal, installation, configuration and aircraft release. Products sold and installed by Samionics that are under warranty – we will not charge any labour costs except for shipping and handling.
